Lava has released another teaser video earlier this month about its upcoming Lava Iris Pro series of phones , revealing more specs of this upcoming phone.
Continuing from where the first teaser left customers expecting more on the phone when launched on the 25th August, the latest teaser intros the phone and few specs. The upcoming phone will sports a HD display screen with a display resolution of 1280 x 720 Pixels like the Canvas 4 from Micromax.
The phone carries a brushed aluminum frame with flat and uniform back panel, which we can assume will be plastic. This gives the phone a very premium and easy to grip look. Like the Lava Iris 504, we can expect OSG technology glass panel with the front screen.
Since 5 inch screen has become a new definition of smartphone screen size, and last Lava phone 504Q also sported the same screen size, we can expect at least a 5 incher from the company this time. For a second the phone in the teaser video appeared to be 6-incher, with alonger side profile. Most of the companies are going mega with a higher screen size, and an added extra inch will be welcome. Also a new name 'Iris Pro' for the series points to a mega screen.
The company has already clarified in the video that the upcoming Iris Pro Series phone will come with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. (that’s the same a Lava 504q gesture recognition phone and Micromax A210 Canvas 4)
Others features that we can make out from the video includes a thin profile with power button and volume rocker on the right hand side of the phone at a place where the thumb can easily operate the phone. The back side has got a camera with dual LED flash light. Seems Lava is preparing the phone for low light photography as well. The front side shows a front camera and speaker. The audio out is on the top side of the phone.
Other specs expected are 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory.
