Larger than life director Karan Johar has a value worth R 1100 crore
Karan Johar is an Indian film director, producer, and TV celebrity, who owns the production house- Dharma Productions, which is touted to be one of the biggest filmmaking unit of Bollywood. Karan is the son of Hiroo Johar and the late Mr. Yash Johar.
Karan is one of the most successful young filmmakers in Bollywood and was figured at No 37 on Forbes’ 2012 Richest Indian Celebrities List. Johar’s movie’s are films with budgets to the tune of Rs 50 crore-Rs 65 crore.
The filmmaker is informally referred to as KJo and is known for his impeccable sense of style thus he forged into fashion collaboration with designer Varun Bahl back in the year 2010. He then showcased their namesake collection at the India Couture Week that year, Karan managed to earn the most paparazzi flashes with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Karan has his favorites when he directs a film, and usually casts the King of Bollywood –SRK. The actresses Karan is closest to include Kajol, Kareena, Rani and Preity.
