Opening Ceremony has Yoko Ono’s quirky Collection!
The most recent brand Yoko Ono has now partnered with New York City-based concept store called Opening Ceremony.
The limited-edition collection known as “Fashions for Men: 1969-2012″ takes its motivation from a progression of drawings produced in the year 1969 by Yoko for her husband John Lennon. The menswear collection put forwards a very eccentric variety of garments like that of a bell board that reads “ring for your mommy,” or a leather jockstrap, etc.
The collection still is wearable, with innovative mesh shirts and trousers having handprints on the crotch. A book of illustrations and posters is also launched alongside. Available in the Opening Ceremony Store and online, Ono is sure an artist class apart.
