Chandigarh: A student was caught posing as another Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) student and appearing for the engineering examination on Monday.

The incident occurred when examination was going on at a government school of the city. It was at this time accused Ram Kumar was caught by the examiner who came to inspect his hall ticket. The fake student was caught when his photograph and signatures did not tally with that of the actual student.

It was at this time the examiner informed supervisor Tek Chand about the entire incident. Later, police was also informed about the entire incident.

Police station in-charge Rajiv Kumar said police is still investigating the case. Kumar said case has been registered against both Ram Kumar and Ramesh Kumar.
