Harbhajan's guru opens cricket learning centre in Chandigarh
Chandigarh: After giving bowling tips to his disciples Harbhajan Singh, Venugopal Rao and Bangladesh's Abdul Razzaque, Manjeet Singh has now decided to open a Cricket Coaching Centre in Chandigarh.
Former Punjab Ranji coach Manjeet is giving coaching classes for last 30 years and after spending many years in Bangladesh, he is planning to return home to produce world-class players. He revealed this during his interaction with media persons.
His coaching abilities can be judged by his efforts in getting Abdul Razzaque's bowling action rectified.
Manjeet is in specialist in modern coaching techniques. He imparts these techniques on his students very easily.
He has already given a name to his coaching, 'Manjeet School of Cricket,' which will have its centre in Saint Stephens School in Sector-45. Students of 12+ year age can enrol themselves. Registration will open from 10 April onward.
Manjeet said, “Our intention is create world-class players and that's why I call it a 'School' and not 'Academy.'"
