IRCTC offers Chandigarh-Shirdi tour package for Sai devotees
Chandigarh: Indian railways decided on Thursday to launch a nine-day tour package from Chandigarh to Shirdi on December 14. The package tour will cost Rs 4,617 per traveller, which will include lodging and fooding, said official sources.
Indian railway catering and tourism corporation (IRCTC) will commence operations for the Chandigarh-Shirdi Special Train which is scheduled to start on Dec 14.
IRCTC would offer a nine-day package tour for Sai devotees in Chandigarh with other facilities. The travellers will be getting accomodation for lodging and meals as well. The yatra will start off on Dec 14 and would end on Dec 22.
The special train would go to Shirdi via Ambala, Saharanpur, Muradabad, and Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Kanpur and Lucknow stations. It has total 504 seats/berths out of which 160 have already been booked. The Sai devotees can also book online tickets by visiting IRCTC website, said sources.
Railway sources said that the travellers would be picked up by a bus from Manmad, where the train journey stops. They will head towards Shirdi from there.
