Creativity enmeshed in cotton: 5 finalists of ‘Lets Design’

New Delhi: ‘Lets Design’ a competition organised by Cotton Council International (CCI) and Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has selected five young designers as finalists for the final round to be held on February 5. Around 2,000 young designers participated in this season of Lets Design, out of which five were shortlisted for the final round of the competition. Lets Design inspires young talent in the fashion world to work with cotton fabrics.
Designers Samant Chauhan and Nitin Bal Chauhan judged the entries and selected the regional winners.
The top five contestants, who have been selected are - Vimal Abinash, Sanya Mukesh Jain, Gurman Singh Chawla, Padmaraj Keshri and Harjosh Singh Gioraya. These five will now compete with seven other selected candidates from Kolkata and Mumbai.
Samant Chauhan, who judged the last edition of the competition too, has noticed a drastic improvement in the quality of work this season.
Cotton Council of India’s President Suniel Shetty and Agisca Fisaul were also present at the occasion.
