Pleasant morning greets Delhiites, IMD predicts more rain

New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Saturday as many parts of northern India saw light rains with winds on Friday night. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast more rain. Also, temperatures are likely to fall over the next two days. The minimum temperature recorded in the national capital was at 13.9 degrees Celsius. Weather experts owe the credit to western disturbances.
The Met department has indicated at more rainfall with strong winds on Sunday.
Delhi has recorded 90 mm rainfall in February. The city has witnessed 261 per cent more rainfall than average this year.
The maximum temperature of Delhi-NCR settled two notches above average at 26.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 12.1 degrees Celsius - a notch above average for this time of the season.
