Anuradha Sharma case: Suicide note names Gopal Kanda

New Delhi: The police have found the suicide note from the residence of Anuradha Sharma, the mother of Geetika Sharma who committed suicide at her New Delhi residence. The suicide note mentions Gopal Kanda and his aide Aruna Chadha.

Her relatives have allegedly blamed Gopal Kanda for threatening the family to withdraw the case or face dire consequence.

Gopal Goyal Kanda and Aruna Chadha will be reportedly charged with abetment to suicide.

According to reports, Anuradha Sharma committed suicide by hanging herself to death at her Ashok Vihar residence in New Delhi today.

Earlier in 2012, Geetika was found dead on August 5 at her Ashok Vihar residence in North West Delhi. In her August 4 suicide note, the 23-year-old victim had said that she was ending her life due to "harassment" by Gopal Kanda and Aruna Chaddha.

Delhi Police had chargesheeted the duo for allegedly committing offences under section 306 (abetment to suicide), 120 B (criminal conspiracy), 506 (criminal intimidation), 201 (destruction of evidence), 467 (forgery of valuable security), 468 (forgery with intention to cheat), 469 (forgery with intention to harm reputation) and 471 (using forged documents as genuine) of the Indian Penal Code.
