Chitrashi Rawat of Chak De! India and Fashion fame is proud to be a part of a film titled Black Home which shows the misery of girl child in remand homes.

“It’s a hard-hitting film. It will slap on the face society who just makes a noise for some-time and then, gets immune or forgets it. Its high-time, we raise our voices against such wrong doings which will hampering our girls,” says Chitranshi.

She further sheds light on her experience while working in a film which is based on such a sensitive subject. “It was mentally challenging for me to portray my character. We have used lot of cuss words and I kept telling my director, can't we just mellow down our tone. But, he told me, the anger should reach out the audience and this is the best way to wake them up of deep slumber and understand the gravity of the bad situation.

Black Home directed by Ashish Deo is produced by Ajay Suryavanshi. Murli Sharma, Achit Kaur too plays pivotal roles in the film.

Singer Hariharan’s son Akshay is making his singing debut with the film.
