Sudden death of Xperia Z solved, Sony rolls out update with bug fix
Sony has rolled out a software update to fix the problem which appeared in the recently launched water and dust-proof 5-ing Xperia Z handset. Few users reported sudden death of the handset while in use.
Xperiablog have received complaints reporting the handsets are suddenly dying while the user is still using the phone. After this it is not at all switching on. For some restart (power button + volume up) worked, but for others it turned into a nightmare. (read here)
The update has been release by Sony and is available by Sony’s PC Companion app and also over the air. Go to the settings menu of your phone to see the update notification. Also you can connect your Xperia Z to your computer and use the Sony PC Companion application.
The update is 10.1.A.1.434, Android version remains 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with the same Kernel 3.4.0. reports droidguy. After this update which was released last month few users have reported faster battery drain and not working of stamina mode of the phone.
