Tiger's last journey: Raj Thackeray skips visiting Shiv Sena Bhavan

Mumbai: MNS Chief Raj Thackeray refrained himself from visiting the Shiv Sena Bhavan and diverted his convoy to Shivaji Park.
The final procession of Sena chief was taken to the headquarter of the party Sena Bhavan at Dadar for 10 minutes as a symbolic visit so that certain Sena political bigwigs could take a final darshan of their leader.
Raj had "pledged not to step into Sena Bhavan after forming the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena".
"Raj saheb feels, it is going to be a private affair of the party men at Sena Bhavan. Balasaheb's body is likely to be taken at his personal chamber on the fifth floor and hence he refrained from intruding. Since he is spearheading the procession arrangements, he opted to be at Shivaji Park to streamline things," said a source.
