Dainik Bhaskar Group launches Marathi newspaper

Aurangabad (Maharashtra): Dainik Bhaskar, the country’s largest newspaper group, launched the first edition of its newspaper in Marathi language on Saturday. After Hindi, English, Gujarati, this will be the 60th edition of the group in Marathi language.

The newspaper was launched at 10am in Aurangabad on Saturday. Union Home Minister P Chidambaram was the chief guest at the function while Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan was also among the VIP guests present at the function.

Also present at the function were some big names like leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, Minister of Rural Development and Minister of Panchayati Raj, Vilasrao Deshmukh,  Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Maharashtra Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Tourism Minister Chagan Bhujbal and former Lok Sabha president and MLA Manohar Joshi.

Apart from Dainik Bhaskar in Hindi language, the group publishes Divya Bhaskar in Gujarati, DNA in English and Business newspaper, Business Bhaskar.

The group also boasts of FM Radio Satations in 17 cities of 7 states.
