MPSRTC staff to get pending salaries

Bhopal: The employees of Madhya Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (MPRTC) who have been denied salaries since 14 months can now heave a sigh of relief as the state government has decided to release their payment here on Monday. The state cabinet has given its green signal to release their pending salaries from Rs 7.97 crore collected from the sale of scrap deposited in the state fund. 
 
The cabinet met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave revised administrative sanction and investment clearance worth Rs 657. 86 crore for Balaghat district's Rajiv Nagar (Bawanthadi) Major Project.
 
The cabinet decided to give State Government's guarantee to Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore to acquire Rs 100 crore loan. The corporation will utilise this loan in extending financial assistance to small and medium industrial units and other commercial services. 
 
The cabinet endorsed Human Rights Commission's report for year 2006-07 and action taken memo and gave permission to table the same in Vidhan Sabha. The cabinet approved Court Fees (Madhya Pradesh Amendment) Bill 2012, Madhya Pradesh Advocates Welfare Fund (Amendment) Bill 2012 and Madhya Pradesh VAT (Second Amendment) Bill 2012.
 
The cabinet decided to withdraw pension (excluding minimum pension) of the then sub-divisional officer, PWD, Shajapur division (Presently retired) Arun Saxena on being found guilty in a criminal case.
