Class 11 girl falls from Queens College building in Indore

Indore: A class 11 student of a private school was seriously injured after falling from first floor of the school building under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday afternoon.

The mishap occurred at Queens College at Khandwa Road. Mansi Gandhi, 17, a resident of Sudama Nagar was playing along with another girl student at the first floor of the school building when she suddenly fell after losing balance near the parapet which was small, police said.

The girl sustained head injuries and rushed to nearby Choithram Hospital where she was admitted to ICU.

The girl accidentally fell from the first floor as the parapet was of short height and got injured, police said, adding her condition is now out of danger.

Since the victim did not regain consciousness, police could not record her statement.

Reliable sources claimed that the girl rarely used to come to school and on Tuesday, her father had arrived at the school to check whether she was in the school. When she learnt about the same she reportedly jumped from the school building.

However, the real picture will become clear only after statements of the girl is recorded. No case was registered at police station till filing of this report.
