Chhattisgarh: Mentally challenged man slaughters nine with an axe

Balrampur, Chhattisgarh: A mentally challenged person brutally massacred nine people in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh on Thursday. The dead included four women and five children.
 
Pandu Nageshiya, 35, was declared mentally ill a year ago but his condition improved after seeking medical treatment. 
 
 A disturbed Pandu Nageshiya got hold of an axe and came out of his house on Thursday afternoon. He ran amuck, killing whosoever came in his way.
 
The brutality of his attack killed Lalki bai, Parmeshwari and Manju on the spot.
 
The villagers informed the police who quickly arrived on the scene. He even tried to threaten the cops with his axe, but was apprehended with the help of the villagers.
 
Entire village is under shock after the incident.
 
Police have registered a case of murder against the accused. The bodies of the victim have been sent for postmortem.
