Trouble for UPA: DMK to boycott Pranab's budget speech
New Delhi: Ahead of the General Budget 2012-13, the Congress-led UPA government has got a blow with DMK party said to be boycotting the budget presentation in the Parliament on Friday, reports said.
All the ministers of DMK including Minister of State Finance SS Palanimanickam are reported to be skipping the Budget presentation by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. According to the reports, the DMK wants to put pressure on the Centre over the Sri Lanka war crime issue.
However, the DMK maitains its ministers are busy in Tirunelveli for by-elections campaigning. DMK has five Ministers of Council in the cabinet including MK Alagiri.Related Articles:
