Schoolgirl gang-raped in West Bengal

West Bengal: A Class IX girl student was gang- raped by four unidentified youths in south 24 Parganas district in West Bengal. The Additional Superintendent of police Kankar Prasad Barui, said that the girl fell unconscious after the four unidentified accused gang-raped her repeatedly.

He elaborated his statement and said that the incident occurred at Bhaganpur when the girl was stopped by four youths. The girl had set out with her male friend from Joynagar on bicycle for a relative's home at Nalua. He also mentioned that her male friend was gagged bounded by the four accused.

The Villagers observed two out of four accused today and informed her father this morning. The victim’s father file a complaint against four of them.

The girl was moved to for her basic medical check up at district headquarters.. Later she moved to metropolis for medical tests.
