The judicial custody of Ram Singh, his brother Mukesh, Vinay Sharma and Pawan Gupta, accused of murder, gang-rape of a 23-year-old paramedic student, has been extended by the special fast-track court hearing the case in the national capital.

Other accused who was the last to be arrested in the case, Akshay Thakur, is already on a 12-day judicial custody which ends on January 9. A minor arrested in the case has been sent to a juvenile home.

The six have been charged with the gang-rape, murder, of an aspiring paramedic student on December 16 in a moving bus.
