Dubai sex racket: Aiports across India on high alert
Kochi/Mumbai: All airports and sea ports have been issued an alert in connection with the Dubai sex racket case that has several women trafficked from different states of the country, including Kerala and Maharashtra.
The crime branch has also decided to issue a lookout notice against the kingpins of the racket, incuding Leena, alias Aswathy, from Wadakancherry, and Basheer from Kodungallur in Thrissur district of Kerala.
According to officials, the procedure for deporting the accused with the help of Interpol is in its initial stage.
Media reports said over 100 women from different parts of the country and foreign countries were trafficked to Dubai in last few years.
Laila had recently trafficked a Kerala-based girl to Dubai. She was detained by the Immigration Department at Mumbai Airport, when she was returning using a fake passport a few months ago.
