New Delhi:   Four Indian pilots have been suspended for fuding records by international civil aviation bodies. The pilots belog to two airlines who may face action by the international body. This revelation is not a good news for Indian civil aviation industry as it might face sanctions from the international body. 

A high-level inquiry has been set up at the level of Indian Civil Aviation Ministry. Meanwhile, the international bodies are reviewing the records of suspended pilots.

As India faces a downgrade threat which would mean that Indian flights may be restricted, Indian's Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh has called the issue 'serious'.

A GM-level officer has also been suspended. 

The aviation sector has been languishing under huge financial crisis with leading airlines running into loss. Vijay Mallaya's Kingfisher Airlines has already been stripped from licence after may of its flights got cancelled after selling tickets. This issue may further the problems of troubled civil aviation in India.
