Will Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party make ‘adverse impact’ on Congress?
New Delhi: The political war of words between Congressmen and activist-turned politician Arvind Kejriwal took a new direction on Sunday as Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh took a jibe on Kejriwal saying he now needs to win in the elections to prove his worth.
"Let Mr Arvind Kejriwal get elected as an MLA or an MP or as a municipal corporator first," said Digivijaya Singh replying to a question whether Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will have any adverse impact on Congress.
On Saturday, Arvind Kejriwal along with over 300 activists sat together to formally announce the name of his new political party. The AAP will be of and for the common man, said Kejriwal while adding that his party will have no high command.
