Eight cases of Swine flu detected in Punjab

Ludhiana: The number of cases of Swine Flu is increasing in Punjab. On Tuesday alone, eight cases were detected in hospitals in Punjab. This has increased the tally to an alarming 34.

State epidmicologist Dr Deepak Bhatia informed that four cases were detected in Ludhiana's DMC, two in Fortis of Mohali, one in Ropar and one in Max Hospital.

In January alone, 43 case has been detected nation wide. This rise in mumber has given grave concern to health department.
