Aamir Khan fans frustrated by road blockades on first day of ‘P.K’ shoot
Jaipur/ Mandawa: The vegetable market here today saw unusual activity with occasional shouts of ‘cut!’, ‘action’, ‘retake’. The reason? Raju Hirani’s film ‘P.K.’ starring Aamir Khan and Sunjay Dutt among many others, was being shot here.
Amir was dressed in traditional colourful Rajasthani colours with a tape recorder around his neck. People around him were dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire as well.All around there were pictures of Mahatma Gandhi even as the superstar shot various scenes of buying carrots. State Tourism Minister Bina Kak also came by to meet the crew.
Meanwhile, locals had to face serious commuting problems as many of the roads were blocked due to the film shoot. Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran also paid a visit with son Azad in tow. The Dadnia school –Jhunjhunu rd. leading to the haveli, main market – Naykan Mohalla, the Dumra ki dani road, to name a few.
However, the people who were troubled by the road blocks were mostly Aamir Khan fans who could not come anywhere near the star because of the heavy security and blockade.
