New Delhi: The Dutch company PAL-V Europe NV has successfully concluded test flights of its flying car, PAL-V on Wednesday.
On the ground the slim, aerodynamic, 3-wheeled vehicle combines the comfort of a car with the agility of a motorcycle thanks to its patented, cutting-edge, ‘tilting’ system. Driving, a
PAL-V accelerates like a sports car and drives through curves like a motorcycle.
In last month’s trial, the car flew 1,400 feet for eight minutes.
Reports state that 100 people have already put down a $10,000 deposit to get Transition and the numbers are expected to increase after Terrafugia introduces the car to the public later this week in the New York Auto Show.
