Riyadh: Alaa Wardi is back, this time with a hit single 'jiya re' from the Bollywood movie 'Jab tak hai Jan'. Alaa Wardi recently came into spotlight after he sang the famous 1990s song 'Pehla Nasha' from the movie 'Jo jeeta wohi sikander'.

The new song has been viewed by over 2,95,000 people on the internet. Alaa Wardi has become an online rage with his unique capability to sing and make music by producing musical instrument sound from his mouth.

This is undoubtedly the advance version of beatboxing. The music is in perfect sync and on occasion sounds better than the original version.

Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, and voice. It may also involve singing, vocal imitation of turntablism, and the simulation of horns, strings, and other musical instruments. Beatboxing today is connected with hip-hop culture, being one of "the elements", although it is not limited to hip-hop music. The term "beatboxing" is sometimes used to refer to vocal percussion in general, according to Wikipedia.

The 27-year-old is a self-confessed fan of Aamir Khan, Jatin Lalit and Pehla Nasha specifically.

"I'm a Huge fan of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, Jatin Lalit, and Pehla Nasha specifically, thought it would be a good choice for my first Hindi A Cappella on YouTube.. I hope you like it and share it with your family and friends :)", he says in the introduction of his YouTube video.

His first YouTube video in Arabic went viral and started trending across the Middle East. The success made Alaa discover a new form of audience.

Alaa Wardi has several other hit songs to his credentials, including Rihanna's hit single Stay.

But Pehla Nasha is something very close to Wardi's heart.

The Indian connect is not coincidental. His grandfather started the hugely popular Golden Star Thali restaurant in Mumbai.

The family has been hugely supportive of Alaa's unique endeavour. The singer makes frequent trips to his mother's homeland.

His last Indian trip was six years back.
