Ricky Ponting RETIRES.... ONE OF THE GREATS! I always got excited playing AUS, so I could watch him bat up close. Well done Punter! #legend
@imVkohli (Virat Kohli)
Ricky ponting what an absolute legend. Iam glad I had the honour of playing against him. Take a bow #legend #respect.
Ponting's decision to retire is well reasoned. Says he is not contributing enough to team. That is the time to go, whatever the age...
No one played the pull shot better than Ponting. No one has straight driven better than Tendulkar. Legends both.
2012 seems to be the year of goodbyes...first Dravid, then Laxman and now Ponting.
My all-time Australian cricket XI: Trumper, Hayden, Bradman, Ponting, Steve Waugh, Miller, Gilchrist, Warne, Lillee, Thomson, McGrath.
i ll miss u till i breath take a bow 4m whole cricket world.
Ponting was the last player remaining from the Taylor/Waugh era. End of an era. Was the world's best bat from '02-'08
Ricky Ponting retires....one of the best player I disliked most. But a wiser decision to call it a day. Legend in his own right. #punterc
No more punter?!? Now who's going to captain the Boxing Day test?!? #clarkesaflog
Will feel weird not watching the Punter over this summers test cricket #legend #farewellricky
