But, there is a twist in the tale- this time round, a 9-year-old girl is fighting it out with women of great talent for the coveted trophy. So, the the oldest nominee in the category is Emmanuelle Riva, who's 85-years-old and the youngest nominee Quvenzhane Wallis, is 9-years-old.
