Doctor's have declared Ashutosh Maharaj clinically dead, but Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan (DJJS) still maintains that he is in deep 'samadhi' and reports of his death are wrong.
This has been going on since January 27 and now the row has reached Punjab and Haryana High Court.

"My father has been murdered," says Ashutosh Maharaj's son. "That is why I don't dare to go to Nurmahal to demand his body," alleges Dalip Kumar.

Ashutosh Maharaj who was earlier known by the name of Mahesh Jha was a great proponent of English language. But, his father was Sanskrit-scholar and was never comfortable with his son's love for the English language. Many times they fought on this issue and one day Mahesh left his home to make a mark in this world.
