Delhi: Delhi University declared the first cut off list for its Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) on Friday.
The cut offs for BA programmes are average, seeing the cut offs for regular colleges in the varsity this year. Top colleges like Hansraj and Lakshmibai have kept the cut off for general category at seventy three per cent and seventy per cent respectively. The cut offs for BCom, too, was not too high, in contrast to this year’s trend. The cut offs for general category in colleges like Hansraj, Lakshmibai and Kalindi colleges, were seventy five per cent, seventy two per cent and seventy one per cent. The admissions in most of the colleges begin on June 27 for BA and BCom programmes.
The NCWEB offers special coaching to women students and enables them to appear in university examinations without attending regular classes.On an average, the NCWEB enrolls over 16,000 students in undergraduate courses and 500 in postgraduate courses per year. (with inputs from agencies)
