‘Bani Ishq Da Kalma’ Fame Adhvik Mahajan Enters Meri Durga
It's good news for fans of actor Adhvik Mahajan. The actor, who was last seen as a lead actor on the show ‘Bani Ishq Da Kalma’ on Colors is returning with the series ‘Meri Durga’ produced by Paperback films (Ravindra Gautam and Pradeep Kumar).
He has replaced Vishal Bhardwaj, who was replaced after one scene in one episode as he couldn't match the requirement of the character.
Adhvik says, "Well, my last show as a leading man was ‘Bani Ishq da Kalma’ on Colors. After that, I have done a couple of films down South and also a few Hindi films. In fact, one will be releasing in May where I play a leading man. Besides, on TV I did an interesting multi-layered role in ‘Jamai Raja’ a year ago".
Talking about his role in Meri Durga, Adhvik says, "This role is special for me because it is my first outing as a suave, charming and a typical dashing hero on television. Having said that, there are many twists in the character, which, in a way, is quite new and challenging for me. I am going to really enjoy this one".
On being asked about replacing Vishal he says, "As far as, I know mine is a new entry and I am entering the show as the first positive lead guy...still even if I have replaced any person then that means may be I fitted the part better and would take it as a compliment"
During the break though, Adhvik did some rather interesting things and turned entrepreneur too. He says, "During the break from TV, I opened up a chain of multi-designer stores called KASBAH in Punjab. But I didn't stop acting and I starred in 3 films. I was also honing my fighting and action skills. I'm already a pro in martial arts. To add to that, I learned sword fighting, horse riding and using the weapon nunchaku. So I have been pretty much occupied with life”.
The show is being appreciated by masses and classes and the production house is being flooded with mails appreciating the show.
