Television’s Superstar, Ronit Roy is quite tight-scheduled these days. And why not? The actor who is in huge demand in the Television circuit is currently shooting for a Bollywood film, for which we has to shoot continuously for 30 days and it’s giving him no rest at all. The film titled, Ugly, is directed by none other than Anurag Kashyap, who is known for his out of the box concept films.
While talking to Daily Bhaskar about how he is managing his time between his TV series Adalat and the shoot of Ugly, he said, “I am shooting 18 hours continuously. During the day I finish my shoot of Adalat and later, I go on the sets of Ugly. I haven’t slept in days. After finishing my shoot today I will directly go home tomorrow night at 10 and maybe then I will hit the bed.”
When further probed about giving an insight in to the film he’s signed on with AK and what character he’s playing in the film, he replied, “It’s too early to talk about the film as well as my character. But yes Anurag is one of my extremely close friends and we get along very well. He is one of my favorite directors in Bollywood. We share this great comfort level and I enjoy working with him.”
Ronit Roy has previously worked with Anurag Kashyap in Udaan for which he also won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor award and also played a cameo in That Girl in Yellow Boots. Ugly too gives a notion of being a contemporary subject. There’s still little time left to talk about Ronit’s upcoming film, but for now, the smart and witty KD Pathak definitely requires to take some time off for a bit of rest.
