Here’s an exclusive interview with Blender’s Pride, the force behind the Fashion Week which is going to showcase designs by world famous Indian designers including Rina Dhaka, Abhishika Dutta and Niki Mahajan are expected to showcase their new collections with a grand finale by none other than the renowned Ritu Kumar!
Q. You've been associated with the Indian Fashion Industry for a while now. What sort of a relationship does fashion and your brand share?

Q. It's the 8th edition of BFW. How has your journey with Bangalore been so far?
Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW) is a premier event in Bangalore. Our association with the Fashion Week over 8 editions have has brought a successful partnership in appreciating the young designers to getting the biggest names in the fashion industry showcase at the fashion week. It is one of the most awaited events in the city and we are happy to be associated with it.
Q. What's going to be the highlight this season?
Every season Blenders Pride Bangalore fashion week gets bigger and better. Ritu Kumar, the empress of Indian haute couture and one of India’s leading and most gifted fashion designers will be presenting her collection on the finale of BPBFW. Like every season this is going to be one spectacular event for the all the fashionistas of Bangalore.
Q. What's Blenders Prides plan for the year 2013 in regard to it's connection with the fashion industry. What events can we look forward to this year?
Blenders Pride has been closely associated with fashion for nearly a decade. Its flagship property the multi-city Blenders Pride Fashion Tour is now in its 9th year and has been supported by the best in the industry. Blender’s Pride Magical Nights, the ultimate six city fashion tour defines style by leading a series of fashion events across the country. In its 6th edition, this year the tour promises more with the best of venues, Bollywood celebrities, top fashion models and talented designers. We will continue our association with WIFW in 2013 as well
Q. What are the 3 essentials behind a successful fashion week?
Style is the foremost and the most essential element of any fashion week to make it a success. We believe that the right set of designers and trendsetting clothes make the fashion show memorable.
Q. How has Blenders Pride supported young Indian fashion designers?
Blenders Pride supports young and upcoming talent. Through our other property, Blender’s Pride Magical nights, we try and promote as many upcoming designers.
Q. How important do you think is Bollywood’s support to the fashion industry/events?
Bollywood presence is an added glamour to the show. Until and unless the designer doesn’t do justice with his clothes, even a bollywood showstopper won’t get eyeballs.
