The popular Indian mobile manufacturer Lava Mobiles is planning to introduce a new and affordable phablet. The phablet will be launched in India in December this year.
With a new phablet which might be priced at about Rs 13000 Lava is eyeing the festive year end Christmas market in India. The Android powered Lava Xolo A800 will come with better hardware specifications as compared to the earlier launch Xolo A700. The specification of this new device is yet not known, the website shows the message “coming soon” only. The Xolo A700 however, had an Intel processor clocked at 1 GHz with a 4.5 inch display.
A spokesperson from Lava India confirmed to The Mobile Indian that the Xolo A800 will be making its way to Indian customers next month onwards, carrying an affordable price tag.
You can expect a faster processor may be a dual-core one with the 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system running on it. You can also expect the company to offer a 1.2 GHz processor and a separate graphics processor card in the device. This might feature a 5 inch display screen with the qHD IPS technology just like the A700. The phablet may also feature an 8 megapixel camera like the X900, to compete with the popular selling Samsung Galaxy S3 which is placed at a higher price point.
