The Apple iTunes store is now open for the Indian users, and with this the Indian users can now buy music, movies books and more on the iTunes India store.

Though the iTunes software which is mostly available on the Apple website and can be downloaded for free at the Apple store, available on most Apple devices such  Apple fans can now buy popular music from within India. They can choose to now pay for the content in their local currency.

The popular Action movie starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Ek Tha Tiger is available for Rs 290. It can be rented for Rs 80. Individual songs from his to be released movie Dabang2 starring with Sonakshi Sinha can be bought for Rs. 12 for one song.

Although officially launched in India, Indian consumers are still waiting for the latest iPhone5 from the Cupertino giant. Apple has till date not been able to open its store in India. However for fans they can still go to the website iWorld which is Apple's largest Premium Reseller in India having stores in New Delhi.

Though the sale of Apple devices have not been very successful in India, where the tech market is dominated by the Android operating system, Apple has slowly been able to make some mark. iPhone 5 release saw some crowd recently.
