Now let me write something about its voice calling feature. This is the first tablet from the company which will offer 3G connectivity via SIM card. We can expect voice calling and also Internet access via GPRS on this 7 inch Funbook even with a pre-paid 3G SIM card.

“The Funbook 3G is our first 3G tab with voice calling” says the Micromax about this tablet. Other than 3G, you can also benefit from the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity when you need.

This tablet comes out of box with the Android Ice cream sandwich operating system, which seems old, but is indeed good when you look at the competition in the market in 3G SIM based tablets segment. The operating system in itself is good and offers smooth touch experience and powered with a dual Mali- 2D/3D graphics processor, it also claims to offer great gaming and movie watching experience. The fast processor of this tablet is accompanied by a 512 MB of RAM.

The camera is not great. But is ok if you are going to use the tablet primarily for working and clicking decent (not-professional quality) images. The primary rear camera is a 2 megapixel one equipped with 4x zoom, but with no autofocus or flash light support. We hope you are not planning to shoot great video with the tablet. There is also a front 0.3 megapixel camera for video calling via Skype or some other VoIP.
