Samsung announces 8 inch Galaxy Note for MWC 2013

Samsung Electronics has announced launch of the 8 inch tablet, the Galaxy Note 8.0 at the Mobile World Congress which begins tomorrow in Spain, Barcelona.

This 8 inch Galaxy device will ship in with Android 4.1.2. Jelly Bean operating system and will be accompanied by the S-Pen for precision, accuracy and will ease of using a traditional pen and paper.

This tablet will sport a quad core processor to support multi-tasking and faster performance. This note will feature multi-window options to split the portable 8 inch screen and allow optimal access to a number of live applications. This will also feature the Samsung 'reading mode’ technology which will let you enjoy eBooks with optimized resolution, video and voice calls. This Galaxy tablet for the first time will feature the innovative Flipboard feature.

The S Pen offers enhanced precision with handwriting-to-text conversion and advanced productivity tools that support formula and shape recognition. In addition, for the very first time in GALAXY NOTE category, you can use S Pen to control the physical menu/back buttons on the device with WACOM technology.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 transforms into an e-Book reader and provides optimal reading conditions to ensure you can curl up and enjoy a good book. The user can even turn it into a universal remote control with Smart Remote, to seamlessly manage TVs, set-up boxes, DVD and Blu-ray players.
