Surat: Actor Shah Rukh Khan dodged himself out of a tricky situation on Sunday when he was asked about Gujarat Chief Minsiter Narendra Modi's prospects of becoming the Prime Minsiter.
Khan, who was in Surat for the grand finale of a TV reality show, chose to take the 'no comments' path, but then displayed his characteristic wit by saying, no matter what he says about Modi he will 'get into trouble and may not be allowed to leave the state'.
When Khan was asked “can Narendra Modi become Indian Prime Minister?” he avoided giving any reply.
But when asked to comment on Modi, the actor said, “I can be in trouble in both cases if I say something good about Mr. Modi or bad. People would not allow me to leave Surat, please don’t ask questions on politics.”
