New Delhi: The much awaited 2013 Skoda Octavia which will be officially launched at the event in Prague, Czech Republic, was seen testing for final conditions before the event. This unveiling was a special screen for the home country, where the Skoda brand emerged from. The car will eventually make it to the Geneva Motor Show, after which it will come to India in August, as the new Skoda Laura.
Amongst the new features will be the Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform which was seen in the Volkswagen Golf and the Audi A3. Skoda expects that this will make it one of the hottest selling cars in the world, as the technology gives vehicles a new driving experience. Other than that, the car will see a sleek interior designs compared with its predecessors apart from the new bumper, headlight, and 5-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels.
