We all have those days when we wake up in the morning feeling groogy, lazy and unwilling to start the day. It looks like a task to push yourself out of bed. What follows next is a day where everything seems to be going wrong and your energy dissipated.
 
But if you incorporate a few habits into your daily routine every morning, it will be life changing for you. So give yourself 20 odd minutes right after you wake up in the morning and do these following things. You deserve this time for yourself and the bright day it ensures.

1) Right after you wake up, bring your palms together, look at them and kiss the palm. Thereafter, sit up in your bed and do meditation for 10 minutes. This involves a simple procedure of sitting quitely in bed and focussing on your inhaling and exhaling breath.

2) Now you may get out of your bed. It is time for 7 minutes of yoga now. Do light stretching exercises and sun salutation (surya namaskar). People with joint-related ailments should do yoga only under the guidance of a 
yoga expert.
