The sweaty summers are here to stay for the next six months. So while you are slipping into your noodle tops, skirts or bermudas, have you shed those kilos that you put on during winters? If not, it is time to do some yoga and tone your body for summer!
Waist or belly fat is one problem area that does not let you flaunt any cloth or outfit. Check out these 3 simple yoga poses that you can do at your home and if done regularly, for around 20 minutes daily, can help you get rid of the belly fat.
Besides putting you in great shape,these yoga asans have numerous health benefits too.
1) Boat pose
This directly attacks fat near the waist line. Create a 45-degree angle with your body, and keep breathing normally as you hold this pose for 15 seconds. Repeat 5 times.

Cobra pose or Bujangasan

2) Cobra pose
Besides strengthening your abs, this pose is great for a flexible spine. Hold this pose for 15-30 seconds in one go and repeat for atleast 5 times.
3) Locust pose
This is an incredible pose for getting your torso in shape quickly and an easy one for beginners too. Remember to inhale while lifting your body and exhale while relaxing.
There are many other yoga postures that you can do to keep yourself fit, but these 3 poses in particular are easy for the beginners and can be done without much technique, hence safe to do anywhere.
