New Delhi: Saudi Arabian business tycoon, investor and member of the Saudi royal family Al Waleed Bin Talal has sued Forbes magazine, bringing libel action against it on differences over their estimate of his wealth.

The Prince believes his wealth to be around $30 billion, a figure much higher than the $20 billion estimated by Forbes.

Bin Talal was ranked No 1 on the list of the 100 richest Arabs in the world. At number 2 is Lebanon-born Brazil-based banker Josef Safra whose wealth had been calculated at $15.9 billion dollars.

Tatal, however, finds himself at a much lower 26th rank in the global list of richest billionaires prepared by the magazine for this year. The list is topped by Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates followed by Carlos Slim at the second position.
