Mumbai: The customers of India's second largest private sector lender HDFC Bank won't be able to avail some key services provided by the bank this weekend.
While customers will be unable to undertake ATM and Phone Banking IVR transactions from 6 pm on July 20 to 5 pm on July 21, debit cards will not work at stores for point of sale payments and online from 2.30 pm on July 20 to 5 pm the following day.
Net Banking and Mobile Banking services will remain affected from 5.30 pm on July 20 to 9 pm on July 21.
FD Booking through net or mobile bankings will remain blocked from 1.45 pm till 5.30 pm on July 20.
As per the statement made by the bank, the services will be suspended as the bank intends to undertake the process of upgrading systems "to provide a wider range of products and services" to its customers.
