Bhopal: Now the journey between Indore and Bhopal would be more comfortable as the Atal Indore City Transport Service Company Limited (AICTSCL) started Volvo bus service on Monday afternoon.
Public relations officer with the AICTSCL, Mala Singh said that a total of 52 passengers left for Indore till evening.
"The bus will be available after every two hours from the AICTSCL office from now," she added. Till now more than 600 people have booked tickets, More than 1100 visitors have visited the website till now, Singh told DNA.
It is just the second day when the website for service was made operational. "Besides, a comfortable ride and better AC, passengers would also be provided with drinking water bottles and light snacks during the journey," Singh told DNA.
She informed that the journey starting from the office of the AITSCL, Indore to newly constructed Inter-state Bus Terminus (ISBT), Bhopal and vice-versa would take around 3.5 hours.
Buses will be available after every two hours starting 6.30 am till 8.30 pm. The ticket would be available at Rs 350. District collector Akash Tripathi, mayor Krishna Murari Moghe, ADM Alok Singh and other officials took a ride in the bus before its formal inauguration.
