Bhopal: Skill development summit will be held in Bhopal on January 31 and February 1. Technical Education Minister Laxmikant Sharma reviewed preparations for the summit at a high-level meeting here on Friday.
Skill development summit is being organised by the Technical Education Department with the cooperation of CII and National Skill Development Corporation. Apart from ITI and polytechnic students, industrial & commercial training providers and prominent personalities of the manufacturing sector, IT hospitability, tourism, automobiles, healthcare, BPO etc will participate in the summit. Union Planning Commission, FICCI and Union Labour Ministry will also participate in the summit.
The objective of skill development summit is to ensure better jobs for ITI and polytechnic college students and make available maximum number of skilled manpower to various sector from MP.
Technical Education Minister Sharma directed to ensure participation of vocational training provider institutions of the state and country.
