Indore: Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) research scholars from the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) batch won the 'Best Paper Award Research Track' in the 6th doctoral colloquium organised by IIM-Ahmedabad on January 7- 9.
Two doctoral students of FPM- Nishant Uppal and Payal Kapoor presented their work on different areas of management studies.
IIM-I public information officer Dr Akhtar Parvez said, "Out of a total of 58 research papers, IIM-Indore FPM participants have bagged 13 Best Paper Awards at various national and international conferences till date."
The colloquium covered areas such as business policy and strategy, finance and accounting, marketing, organisational behavior, personal and industrial relations, production and quantitative methods, public policy and public systems, computer and information systems, economics, and agriculture management.
About 100 doctoral students from all over India and abroad participated and presented their research papers during the event.
Sources said that a one-day doctoral workshop was conducted by eminent faculty members and researchers from across the world on contemporary issues in management and management research during the colloquium.
IIM-I started the doctoral programme FPM in 2006 and the number of candidates pursuing the same has reached up to 60 in this academic session.
