IIM Indore students attempt to create a guinness world record

Indore: As a tribute to the two martyr's of Poonch- Lance Naik Hemraj and Sudhakar Singh, Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) students attempted to create a guinness world record by making a portrait of wounded soldier wielding a gun with over 4,000 colourful greeting cards at the campus on Saturday.
A greeting card mosaic covering 95.8 square meters of area and measuring 10.2 X 9.5 meters was displayed on the IIM- I lawn on the inauguration of the institute's annual cultural fest Mridang 2013.
Mridang coordinator Kavya Amarnath said, "We used over 4,000 greeting cards and the area covered is the largest in the last few years".

Kavya said that the portrait depicts a wounded soldier who is bent on his knees wielding his gun and bravely fighting with the enemies ignoring his injuries which have been highlighted through the red color of blood.
Mridang started with dance competition in which five teams staged their performances. 20 another teams are expected to competition different events that are lined up on Sunday.
