Kasab's hanging: Indoreans celebrate the much-awaited execution

Indore: Four years after the Mumbai terror attack when the lone surviving gunman Ajmal Amir Kasab was secretly hanged in Pune, Indoreans too celebrated the hanging on Wednesday.
From Pardeshipura to Rajwada, Atal Dwar to Bhawarkuan, there was celebration in every corner of the city.
Students of Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalay (DAVV) hanged an effigy of Ajmal Kasab at the Bhawarkuan main square to mark celebration. ABVP state joint secretary Manasvi Patidar said that justice has finally come and it calls for celebration. They hanged an effigy of Kasab at the main city square and distributed sweets to other students and public.
Students distributed sweets in the University Teaching Department (UTD) and in colleges.
A local group, All India Anti Terrorist Forum (AIATF), paid tribute to the victims and the martyrs of the terror attack and staged a cracker show at Regal Square This was a rare occasion when both the major political parties- Congress and BJP-- celebrated together, though in different ways.
Congress workers gathered at Rajwada with the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and other Congress leaders and distributed dry fruits to general public, celebrating Kasab's death.
BJP workers gathered at Atal Dwar for celebration and distributed sweets.
Although everyone from an aam admi to social organizations celebrated Kasab's death which they feel has brought justice to the victims and martyrs of the Mumbai attack, the celebrations concluded with a common message- hang Abul Faizal too.
A candle march was also organised at Rajwada in the evening to celebrate the day.
