Indore: After the exam form unavailability and admit card blues, far off exam centers for the state round of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) held on Sunday caused trouble to students.
The first round of NTSE was held peacefully in all four centers. The several students had to travel for hours to reach to exam centers.
Students of some schools were given centers as far as in Bijalpur and Rau. Vidyasagar School principal S K Joshi said, "Around 150 students from my school appeared in NTSE and they were allotted two centers out of which one was Bijalpur".
This time NTSE was held for the 10th standard students studying in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools and MPPEB was given the charge of holding the exam or the first time.
Students claimed that although the overall paper was easy, the Mental Ability (MA) section of the question paper was very difficult.
"I found the mental ability section really tough. The Scholastic Aptitude (SAT) was easy. The overall paper was good. I am hopeful about scoring well, but nothing can be said as the competition is tough," said 10th standard student of Prestige School, Prateek Gurnani.
