New Delhi/Shimla: Congress leader Virbhadra Singh was sworn-in as the state Chief Minister for a record sixth term on Tuesday in Shimla.
Governor Urmila Singh administered the oath of office to the 78-year-old veteran.
With the state BJP government repeatedly levelling corruption charges against Virbhadra Singh, the 78-year-old Congress veteran had to fight a lonely battle to prove his worth in his party and in politics both. The 2012 HP poll results have shown that the voters wanted a regime change to give him a chance.
